Chuck Schumer, the Majority Leader of the US Senate and a representative of the Democratic Party, has arrived in Ukraine for an official visit.
In a statement, Schumer expressed his purpose for leading the delegation, stating:
«I am leading this delegation to meet with President Zelensky to show the Ukrainian people that America stands with them, to demonstrate support for our NATO and European allies, to understand the critical weaponry needs of Ukraine, and to safeguard our democracy and national security».
Schumer shared a photo from Lviv along with his message.
